The International Coalition of Sites of Conscience is a global network of “Sites of Conscience” – historical sites, museums, and memorial initiatives – activating the power of memory places to engage the public in a deeper understanding of the past and inspire actions to shape a just future. The Coalition supports its members in various ways, including providing direct funding for civic engagement programs, connecting members to a global network of like-minded sites, helping establish best practices and new partnerships, offering leadership and program development opportunities, providing dialogue training, and conducting strategic advocacy for individual members and the Sites of Conscience movement as a whole. The Coalition has over 200 members in 55 countries.

ISM Mauritius has been a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience since 2021.
